Damaging Winds, Large Hail And Tornadoes Possible In The Ozarks Again Today

Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms will move through the Ozarks Tuesday as a cold front pushes through.

The National Weather Service says the main threat with these storms will be large hail and damaging winds up to 70 miles per hours.

An isolated tornado will also be possible along the front.

The severe storms moved into extreme southwest Missouri just after 8 a.m. Tuesday as the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Newton and Northwestern McDonald County.

More storms also means more heavy rain, with additional moderate to heavy rainfall bringing the potential for flash flooding.

One to three inches of additional rain will be possible Tuesday.

The KTTS Storm Chasers will keep you up to date with the latest watches and warnings on 94.7, KTTS.
