Severe storms and a few confirmed tornadoes touched down across the Ozarks and parts of Kansas Monday night. Several areas were hit with some form of damage.

There’s a tornado watch for the entire KTTS listening area until 1 am Tuesday.

A tornado was reported on the ground near Pittsburg, Kansas. A funnel cloud was spotted in southwest Dudenville between Jasper and Dade counties near Highway 37.

The Office of Emergency management reported that there were two injuries that happened near Hwy 13, north of Collins.

Streets flooded in Joplin and trees uprooted in Pleasant Hope.

There were reports in Bolivar of roof damage to a home and trees down. Trailers rolled over at the Mercy Hospital construction site on Highways 13 and 83.

The old Meeks lumber yard building partially collapsed in Greenfield. Luckily no one was inside and there were no injuries reported. Pea to dime size hail was also reported in the area.

A small shed was struck by lightning at county road 240 and state highway 96 that started a fire. It was quickly put out and no one was injured.

The storms also caused power outages in Douglas County and a large tree fell on top of a home next to Haswell.

People in Wheatland reported trees on top of houses and cars and power lines were down. Emergency crews have shutdown several roads in Neosho and water was over many roads in Carthage.

Flooding shutdown highway CC in Fair Grove. In the Springfield metro area, Cherry and Kimbrough was flooded. Crews had to perform a water rescue after a car was stuck at the intersection and 1 1/2 feet of water was reported to flood Division and Rogers.
