With heavy rainfall last night and more expected today and tomorrow, the Corps of Engineers will be releasing water at the Table Rock Dam this afternoon.
Crews will open up the spillway gates about a foot each, releasing about five-thousand cubic feet per second.
Several inches of rain has already fallen near surrounding lakes and rivers with more expected the next couple days.
