Police have arrested a Newton County Man on Tuesday for the possession of illegal guns and equipment capable of making those guns fully automatic.

Leng Lee, 35, is a convicted felon who ordered a package of selector switches from China.

U. S. agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives were aware of it after it crossed the border.

U. S. Authorities allowed for a controlled deliver to Lee’s house in Sarcoxie, after which they served a search warrant and found the guns inside, as well as suspected meth and marijuana. According to the officers who confiscated the weapons, none of them came from a licensed dealer.

Lee has a record of illegal possession of firearms before and has previously been convicted of grand theft, two counts of burglary, and felony vandalism.

Lee claims that the guns are his but are just for target practice and hunting.
