Missouri Lawmakers React to Released Mueller Report

A report has been released to the public about special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of President Trump’s campaign and Russia’s attempted interference in America’s elections.

Western Missouri Democratic Congressman Emanuel Cleaver supports having Mueller testify before Congress.

“The best thing Democrats can do is defeat Donald Trump in two years. I don’t think anything less or anything more would be in the best interest of trying to reduce the division,” said Cleaver.

Northern Missouri Republican Congressman Sam Graves says the president has been vindicated and he hopes Congress can focus on the real issues that affect Americans.

Cleaver says he’s not interested in seeking impeachment, but thinks Trump will be indicted in New York for allegedly paying off women who claim they had sexual relations with Trump.

Cleaver went on to say that members of Congress and millions of Americans want to know what was he thinking when he put certain sentences in the report.

Southeast Missouri Republican Congressman Jason Smith says Mueller’s report has delivered the final nail in the collusion coffin and anyone who pushes the false collusion narrative from now on is playing into Russian hands.
