Missouri has more than 900 bridges listed in poor condition.

During a budget hearing at the state Capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri Transportation Director Patrick McKenna says Governor Parson’s budget proposal would fix 250 of the state’s bridges.

McKenna says the agency’s five-year bridge repair plan includes weigh-restricted and poor conditioned bridges.

Governor Parson’s proposal to fix 250 bridges would cost $350 million plus roughly $100 million in interest.
