Two gun bills are in the hundreds of pre-filed bills for the legislative session of the Missouri Legislature that begins on January 7th.
One bill proposed by Republican Justin Hill allows companies to ban firearms in company-owned vehicles.
Democrat Gretchen Bangert has proposed a bill that would require gun owners to store their unloaded weapons in a secure container, locked safe, or trunk of the car.
In her bill, a loaded gun could be in the car, but only so long as the owner of the gun were also present.
