Lawyers representing plaintiffs in several cases against the Arkansas government argue that the new work requirement for Medicaid Benefits is nothing more than a benefit cut.
The attorneys argue based on the 17,000 people that have been left without insurance since the decision.
The new work requirement says that those who are not exempt must work or volunteer 80 hours a month in order to keep their benefits.
