Health Reform stays on Senate floor

A sixty to thirty-nine vote will keep the Democrat's Health Care Reform alive in the Senate after the Thanksgiving Holiday. Missouri Senator Kit Bond says 97% of the bills that receive cloture, like this one, get passed.  He says the Health Care bill that will be debated after Thanksgiving "is one turkey no one should be thankful for".  Bond adds "all the majority had to offer the American people is over 2000 pages that will cost us over $2,000,000,000 for 10 years, increase health care costs, raise taxes, cut Medicaire benefits for seniors, and that's not the kind of reform that I believe Missourians want."  Bond says incoming calls are jamming the phone lines, with an overwhelming response from Missourians saying "don't do this".
