The manager of a senior housing complex in Humansville says it was a smouldering cigarette that started a late night fire that killed a man who lived in a duplex. Circle Drive Manager Wanda Garretson tells KTTS News the victim was not burned, but was overcome by the smoke that filled the unit before rescue crews could fight back the flames. An alert driver who saw the smoke called 911. Garretson says damage was limited to one side of the duplex.
