When they came back from the war they were spit on, despised and called horrible names, now Vietnam Veterans are getting some recognition for their service to their country. Governor Matt Blunt was on hand this Memorial day at the National Guard Armory in Springfield. Blunt talked with Veterans about what it was like to come back to the US afterwards and how they were treated was horrible and its never too late to say thank you. Veterans of nearly every branch of the Military were issued medals.
