Veterans of the Vietnam War will be honored with a special medallion during ceremonies at the Springfield Branson National Airport today. The Missouri National Guard will also take part in the Recognition Ceremony that begins at 2pm. Since the program was created in 2006, more than 19 thousand veterans have been recognized for their service in Vietnam, another 44,000 for service during World War Two, and 14 thousand for time spent in the Korean conflict.
