Today marks the first day for Missouri's Sales Tax Holiday. What it boils down to is purchases for Back to School Items such as clothes, supplies, computers and software will all be exempt of the typical state sales tax of a little over four percent. The holiday will run through Sunday.
This will be the 5th time the Show me state has participated in the holiday although nearly 200 cities and over 50 counties have decided not to participate in the event.
