Jim Arnott, Mike Ramon, Gene Thomlinson, and Mark Webb were all brought together by the League of Women Voters for a public forum. There the four answered questions, the biggest question being would they raise taxes to help with jail overcrowding? All four said they would not, Webb says he would like to help the problem with alternate sentences for nonviolent offenders. Once the four are narrowed down to one after the August fifth primary, they will face Democrat Mike Ramon.
