 Here ya go gang- lots of festivals and maizes to take the kids too.

FRIDAY

Verona Corn Maize is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with various hours. Prices start at 10 dollars for the Maze Pass. Proceeds benefit the Verona Boys Home.

Friday of the Library Fall Book sale is underway at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. This cash or check fundraiser will benefit the Springfield Greene County Library. It starts at 10 am until 8 pm and its open Saturday and Sunday too.

Persimmon Days in downtown Sparta all day long. Barbecue, car show parade, food - FREE

Rocky Horror Show starts at 7:30 at the Springfield Contemporary theater. Come do the "time warp" again. Tickets are $30 dollars

"Summerland Lost: A Ghost Story" plays at 7 pm at the Springfield Little Theater. This one-man show features author Grady Hendrix detials the trials and tribulations of the Fox Sisters. FREE

SATURDAY

Thomas Rhett plays at JQH Arena  7:30.

30th annual Wine and Food celebration is 2-5 pm at he White River Conference Center. Wines, craft beer, food and entertainment that benefits the Ozarks Public Television. Tickets $50-75 dollars

Pet and pumpkins festival begins at noon on Commercials street. Bring your chairs, fur babies, and wear costumes! Enter the parade- only $2.00 per person.

Dragonnfest 2017 will be at the Springfield Riding Club 5964 S. State Highway NN in Rogersville. The Renaissance-style festival  helps to raise funds for the school's tuition program for Infinity Academy. $5.00

Halloween Train Rides  is 10 am to 5pm on the Joplin and Springfield Railway. The railway is one miles south of the Springfield-Branson National Airport on Airport Boulevard. The 2 mile trip lats about 20 minutes. with Halloween decorations on display. FREE Trains won't operate in wet conditions.

Monster Dash at YMCA Camp Wakonda in Ash Grove will host the "Monster Dash!"  The 5K is a  Zombie theme with obstacles and challenges. Adults $33 adults and $16  for kids.

Val Kilmer LIVE at the Gillioz theater. Val will appear in person and introduce his one-man play about Mark Twain. 7:30

SUNDAY

Halloween Train Rides  is 10 am to 5pm on the Joplin and Springfield Railway. The railway is one miles south of the Springfield-Branson National Airport on Airport Boulevard. The 2 mile trip lats about 20 minutes. with Halloween decorations on display. FREE Trains won't operate in wet conditions.
