Destructive Winds Collapse Restaurant in Monett

Severe thunderstorms carrying damaging straight line winds caused major damage around the Monett area this morning.

KTTS Reporter Austin Robertson has been at what used to be the Pizza Hut in town.

Local emergency management officials say there are no reports of any injuries from these severe thunderstorms. There have also been no confirmed reports of tornado touchdowns in the Ozarks, although damage assessment teams from the National Weather Service will be investigating today.
