The Ozarks Remembers 9/11

Here are the events going on in honor of  the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

KTTS News will air a special Cracker Barrel from 7-9 Sunday, September 11th. It will include special audio and interviews looking back at the attacks, and how people in the Ozarks were affected.

Springfield:

  • Victim's Memorial Garden, Phelps Grove Park: Sunday, September 11th, 1p.m. -- Music, Honor Guard, words of inspiration. For more info, call 417-863-0827 ext.106.
  • Ozarks Technical Community College, Chestnut and National: thru Friday, September 9th -- Posters signed by OTC students on 9/11. It's the first time they've been on display since the attacks happened.

Branson:

  • Branson Remembers 9/11, Branson Landing: Sunday, September 11th, 6 p.m. -- Held in front of the fountains. FBI agent in charge of the Evidence Response Teams responsible for sending teams to different sites to collect evidence. New Yorker and ex-Marine who lost friends in the attack. Guest speakers. Music.
  • Silver Dollar City: Sunday, September 11th, noon -- "Tribute to the American Spirit -- Remembering 9/11". A special ceremony on the square with prayer and music.
