Thursday, May 13, 2010 Severe thunderstorms carrying damaging straight line winds caused major damage around the Monett area this morning. KTTS Reporter Austin Robertson has been at what used to be the Pizza Hut in town. Local emergency management officials say there are no reports of any injuries from these severe thunderstorms. There have also been no confirmed reports of tornado touchdowns in the Ozarks, although damage assessment teams from the National Weather Service will be investigating today.

Monday, March 22, 2010 Southwest Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt says the passing of the democrats' healthcare bill means that this subject is guaranteed to be a big one in the future of politics. Blunt says the legislation could still be turned around, but it would take a lot of work. He says it will be years before any changes are made to the health care system, but taxes and cuts in Medicare will start in the next few months.
Monday, March 15, 2010 KTTS Reporter Jason Rima live from the scene of a house fire in the 1700 block of west Olive in Springfield, just west of Kansas Expressway. Four people, including three children, were pulled from the house with burns and suffering from smoke inhalation. Firefighters described the injuries to at least two of the kids as very critical.
