I have a passion for news and have worked at KTTS since 1998. I love knowing the news FIRST and then letting the Ozarks in on the big secret.
As if chasing the latest story (or a May tornado) isn’t enough, I’m first a mom and wife. I live in Nixa with my husband, Brian, and have two little kids who keep me very busy.
I have won many awards including several from the Associated Press, some “Best Newscast” awards from the Missouri Broadcasters Association and Edward R. Murrow Awards for Best Newscast, several for Writing, Investigative Reporting and Hard News Feature. We have MANY awards for storm chasing, including a national Edward R. Murrow Award for our coverage of the E-F-5 tornado that hit Joplin.
Besides spending most of my free time with my family, I’m also a member of Integrity Tae Kwon Do in Clever where I am a second-degree black belt.
I love going to schools and talking to kids about my job, pushing them to find a career they love -- like I do!
You can hear Nancy weekday afternoons 2pm - 6pm.
