Homeschool Basketball Championship Coming To Springfield

For the fifth year in a row, 350 teams with the National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championship games are gathering in Springfield this week.

You'll see vehicles all painted up, cheering for their favorite team with license plates from 30 states.

Including players and their families, Susan Wade with the Springfield Visitor's and Convention Bureau says up to 10,000 people will be visiting the Springfield area and spending around $3.6 million.

The event will end Saturday with the championship games held at Hammons Student Center.
