Nixon Leads Trade Delegation To Far East
Governor Nixon is filling this week of the legislature's spring break with a trip to the Far East to drum up more business for Missouri.
Nixon hopes to sign new agreements increasing Missouri exports of corn and soybeans as well as an agreement for beef.
Nixon's delegation includes a number of agriculture commodity and industry representatives, including officials from Monsanto.
Some of today's college students are from foreign countries might be tomorrow's trading partners for Missouri. That's why Nixon has taken representative from five state universities on the trade mission.
Nixon will return home on Friday.
