Nixa Police Say Man Tried To Lure Children To SUV

Suspicious Man Drove By Children Several Times
At 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nixa Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in a small dark green SUV near the intersection of Harris and Art Hill in Nixa.
The complainant reported the green sport utility vehicle drove by the house several times while children were playing in the front yard.
After driving by several times, the vehicle stopped and the driver, a white male, said "hi" to the children and then motioned for them to come to the vehicle.
The complainant said she walked outside to see what was going on the vehicle sped away from the area.
The person is described as a white male with a brown beard, wearing a blue ball cap and brown coat.
