Lawrence County Cracks Down On Impaired Driving
From A Press Release
Law enforcement officers across Missouri will be cracking down on drunk driving with increased enforcement March 14-17. The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office will be participating in this effort.
"It's never worth the risk to drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Drivers could lose their license, pay large fines, or worst of all, cause a tragic loss of life," said Sheriff Brad DeLay. "The only safe driver is one that is completely sober."
In 2012, 217 people were killed and 815 seriously injured in accidents that involve at least one impaired driver.
