Loud Boom Heard In Springfield
A loud boom caused all kinds of concern in Springfield late Wednesday morning.
Dispatchers took several calls after the noise this morning around 11:45 a.m.
It's still unclear what made the sound.
Some of the early reports were possibly a car backfiring or a blown transformer.
But the calls were reported all over town.
