Dozens Of Homes Evacuated After Arkansas Gas Explosion
CLINTON, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say dozens of homes were evacuated after an explosion at a natural gas compression station in Van Buren County.
Arkansas Department Emergency Management Tommy Jackson said about 25 homes were evacuated Monday following the explosion at the facility in Clinton.
Jackson says the explosion released natural gas, though it's not clear how much or what caused the explosion.
Jackson says there haven't been any reports of injuries and that the waterways in the area haven't been affected.
