Snow Blankets Ozarks, Causing Problems
Up to 7 inches of snow has been reported across the KTTS Listening Area so far this morning.
The snow caused numerous crashes and slideoffs during the morning commute.
It even knocked out power for part of Springfield after a tree fell on some power lines in the central part of town.
Up to 7 inches was reported near Windyville and 5 inches near Fair Grove in Dallas County, with another 6 inches in Niangua in Webster County.
Snowfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches were reported south of I-44.
