Snow Will Affect Morning Commute Across Ozarks
The latest round of winter weather will bring more snow than ice to the area.
Meteorologist Drew Albert with the National Weather Service says Springfield will get some accumulation but those amounts will increase to the north and west.
The worst of the storm is expected to hit the area during the morning commute.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for counties in the northern portion of the KTTS Listening Area until noon Tuesday. Six to ten inches of snow could be possible.
Counties along the Interstate 44 corridor are under a Winter Weather Advisory.
