Two Arkansas Nurses Released After Being Held Hostage
PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) - A man with what turned out to be fake weapons took two nurses hostage for a time in Pine Bluff before police arrested him.
Police say the suspect went into a medical clinic at about noon Thursday and took two women who work there hostage.
Little Rock television station KTHV reports that the suspect was arrested a short time after the incident began. The suspect is identified by Pine Bluff police as William Brown. Police say he allegedly had a fake gun and fake bomb with him.
Brown is being held on multiple charges that included false imprisonment, terroristic threatening and second-degree battery of one of the two women.
