Winter Weather Pushing Through The Ozarks
The National Weather Service says the worst is still on its way for the Ozarks as a winter storm system pushes in from Oklahoma.
Freezing rain, snow, and sleet are all expected to rapidly move in over the next few hours. Officials warn that driving conditions could quickly deteriorate.
MoDOT has been treating roads overnight and will continue to work to clear them through the morning commute.
The Springfield Police Department is in emergency status, meaning they won't respond to non-injury crashes. You should exchange information with the other driver.
