Hail Reported In Parts Of Ozarks As Strong Thunderstorms Move Through

The National Weather Service issued several severe thunderstorm warnings early this afternoon as hail producing thunderstorms moved through areas south of Springfield.

Warnings were issued for parts of Barry, Stone, Taney and Christian Counties.

Dime sized hail was reported in Branson just before 3 pm, with pea size hail reports also coming in along Highway 65 near Busiek State Park and just north of Shell Knob. 

All the severe thunderstorm warnings had expired by 3 pm.

Heavy rain and small hail will continue to be possible east of Highway 65 through the evening.
