School Leaders In Strafford Hope Voters Will Pass Bond Issue
The Strafford school district is hoping to ease overcrowding with a new building.
But, a 15-million dollar no-tax bond issue needs to be approved by voters on April 2nd.
Officials say the money would also be used to update security barriers in existing buildings.
The student population has grown by 2 to 3 percent each year for the past couple of years.
No new teachers could be hired or classroom materials purchased with this bond money.
