Update: Chase Suspect Caught In Lawrence County
After searching for hours in rural Lawrence County, deputies have arrested a man who led authorities from two counties on a high speed chase.
The chase began when deputies tried to pull a driver over for a suspected truck theft on Farm Road 94 near Willard.
The guy ran from the truck after it crashed near Halltown.
Authorities got a tip from a man, who said the suspect had stopped at his home to use the telephone.
He was arrested in a field with the help of a K-9 unit.
The suspect is from Branson and has outstanding felony warrants.
A woman who was riding in the truck was arrested, a six month old baby was taken into protective custody.
