McCaskill Favors Increased Pre-School Education

Responding to the president's call for universal pre-school education, Missouri Senator Claire McCakill says it's a good idea.
Speaking with reporters during her weekly press conference, McCaskill said numerous studies show the benefits of helping children get ready to learn.
She hopes people will consider it to be an investment, money spent in the early years could lead to less being spent for unemployment compensation, social welfare programs, and having to increase prison space.
