High Speed Chase Through 3 Counties
A high speed chase that went through 3 counties has ended after a couple involved took of running in a field.
Ozark Police say it all started with a traffic stop in the Lowes parking lot.
Lieutenant Truman Isbell says the chase then began on Highway 65 through Ozark, to Highway 248 through Reeds Spring, then back northeast between the Stone and Christian county line.
It ended in Spokane after the driver and passenger took off running after getting out of their truck in the middle of a field. Deputies with the Taney County Sheriff's Office captured those involved.
They're both being held in Christian County lockup.
