Arrest Made In Pharmacy Holdups

On Wednesday, Feb. 6, at approximately 11 p.m., Springfield Police Department Detectives arrested Matthew Q. Robinson in reference to a series of armed robberies at local pharmacies.  The robberies occurred at Walgreens stores located at 2951 S. Campbell Avenue and 2640 E. Sunshine Street in Springfield on Oct. 24, Nov. 12, and Dec. 11 of 2012.  SPD Detectives are also working with the Nixa Police Department in reference to a related robbery at the Walgreens located in Nixa, Missouri that occurred on Jan. 15, 2013.

The Greene County Prosecutor's Office has filed charges of First Degree Pharmacy Robbery and Armed Criminal Action against Robinson, a 22-year-old male, in relation to the robbery at 2951 S. Campbell on Oct. 24,   2012.  The additional cases will be presented to the prosecutor as well.  Robinson is currently being held in the Greene County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Detectives are also trying to locate a second suspect, identified as Michael A. Falk.  Falk is a 23-year-old white male, approximately 6'3" tall and 230 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.  Falk has not been charged in relation to these robberies at this time.
