Republic Man Charged With Forcing Housekeepers To Disrobe At Gunpoint
An employee from Missouri Gas Energy was checking on a bill at a home in Republic, when police say he interrupted an assault on two women.
Greene County prosecutors have charged 57 year old Jay Jett with felonious restraint, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon after forcing two housekeepers to undress at gunpoint.
Police say when the utility worker showed up, the women ran from the home.
Jett was taken to the Greene County jail.
