Westbound I-44 Slowed By Three Crashes In Springfield Area
If you were on I-44 tonight in the Springfield area, you likely experienced hefty slowdowns on the Westbound side.
MoDOT says a woman crashed near the on-ramp from Kansas Expressway. Then three semi trucks crashed at the 71 mile marker. Traffic backups went past Glenstone, where yet another crash took place.
Until all the crashes are cleared, authorities are diverting westbound traffic off the interstate at Highway 65, south to Kearney, then west across town.
