Charges In Springfield Double Murder From 2011
There's a break in a double murder case in Springfield.
The Greene County Sheriff and the Greene County Prosecutor have announced that 25-year-old Jose Huckleberry, from the Springfield area, has been charged with stabbing Helen and Donald Willingham in their home on West Scott in April, 2011.
Court papers say Huckleberry admits to entering the house, intending to steal things and then participated in the murders.
The sheriff says this appears to be a random act, but the investigation is not done.
The sheriff says investigators have logged 555 items as evidence and that some of it is still at the crime lab.
