Double Homicide Under Investigation Near Versailles
Deputies say a double homicide followed a pair of frantic 911 calls from a home south of Versailles this morning.
The Morgan County Sheriff's office says around eleven this morning, a woman called 911 saying she'd been shot. Deputies and state troopers arrived at the home off TT Highway to find a man and woman dead.
The sheriff says a white van tried to ram one of the deputies headed to the scene. It crashed into a ditch and three people inside were arrested.
