Carthage Police Looking For Burglar Who Assaulted Woman
A man from Jasper county is on the run after breaking into a woman's home and assaulting her.
Police in Carthage say the victim fought off her attacker, who then got startled by a noise outside and ran away.
Investigators found out about the assault when a hospital called about the woman's injuries.
