Law Enforcement and Cattleowners To Meet To Discuss Rustling Problem

Area law enforcement and cattle owners will be meeting on Thursday to talk about the recent rash of cattle thefts in the area.
This past week area Sheriff's Offices, Prosecutors from Dade and Lawrence County, and the Highway Patrol met in Lawrence County to discuss ways to stop the problem.
The open meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the University of Missouri Research Center on Highway H just south of Mount Vernon.
