Dade County Audit Underway
The state is looking into the books in Dade County, not because someone has petitioned it, but because Missouri routinely audits counties that don't elect an auditor.
State Auditor Tom Schweich says folks who would like to provide information during the process are encouraged to contact his office at 800-347-8597 or by e-mail at moaudit@auditor.mo.gov.
