Springfield Police say a man and two children were hurt after their mini-van crashed through a fence near Kansas and Sunset this morning.
Sergeant Tom Royal says its unclear why the driver lost control.
The man, who's in his 20s, had minor injuries from a head injury.
He was awake, but not very alert when police arrived.
Two kids, ages five and seven, also had minor injuries.
One of them called 9-1-1, telling dispatchers their "Daddy was dead."
