Home Invasion-Baseball Bat Beating In Springfield

Springfield police say a man was beat with a baseball bat early this morning at a home in the 1600 block of south Fairway.
Officers say the victim, who did not have to go to the hospital, told them four men with their faces covered forced their way into the house, demanding property from him before assaulting him.
Police say the men are still on the run.
