Downtown Bistro Market May Close If New Walmart Is Built
The Bistro Market in downtown Springfield is worried that new competition may force them to close the doors.
The concept grocery store and restaurant operated by Price Cutter has been a hit so far for folks living downtown.
Company officials say that if a new Walmart Neighborhood Market is approved by City Council and decides to build nearby at Campbell and Grand, they may not be able to keep up.
It is set to go before Council on February 4th.
