Committee Created To Challenge Viebrock In 2014
A committee has been formed to challenge incumbent Greene County commissioner Jim Viebrock when he comes up for re-election next year.
The Springfield News-Leader says the committee was created by Bob Cirtin from Springfield.
Cirtin is a private investigator and runs the criminal justice program at Evangel University.
One of the committee members is Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott.
Arnott and Viebrock have been at odds over a countywide law enforcement sales tax that Arnott lobbied for last year.
That sales tax was approved by voters last year.
