Police in Springfield say a man who built a backyard lab that blew up in his face last month is in jail after officers raided another lab at the Extended Stay Hotel on Kingsley near Fremont.
The Springfield News Leader reports inside that room officers found more than 500 pseudoephedrine pills and other ingredients used to make meth.
Prosecutors say Rex Humphrey put his infant son and other hotel guests at risk to deadly fumes and a possible explosion.
