Cold Forecast For MLK Jr. Celebrations In Springfield
It will be a cold morning for folks celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Springfield. Temperatures are only expected to reach the mid twenties, with wind chills making it feel even chillier.
The Freedom March and Celebration starts off at 9:30AM, folks will meet at the Mediacom Ice Park before heading across the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge, go west on Tampa, and south on Jefferson over to the Gillioz Theater.
A free rally will be held at the Gillioz after the march.
Missouri State University is also holding a free festival from 12PM-4PM at Juanita K. Hammons Hall.
