City Of Springfield To Consider New Meth Law
Police in Springfield know there's a meth problem and hope a proposed new law could help reduce the dangers posed by labs that make the illegal drug.
If approved it would allow prescription only for pseudoephedrine which is a key ingredient. Some local groups oppose the idea saying it may reduce meth labs but not the problem of people using.
A third City Council committee to discuss a prescription requirement has been scheduled for noon Thursday.
