The flu shot supply is running low in the Springfield area.

While a recording at one local Walgreens said they still had the vaccine, Mercy closed a clinic early Friday when they ran out.

Health officials say you are going to have to hunt around at this point in the flu season to find the vaccine.

Most pharmacies that still have the vaccine are providing it on a walk-in basis, first-come first-served, so it would be wise to call first and see if a pharmacy does still have a supply that will hold out till you can get thiere.

When the first batch of flu shot vaccine was about out a few months ago, KTTS Reporter Greg Brock got hold of a K-Mart which told him they had three doses left.
